Today's cocktail brought to you by my Grandma, Nana Davis. She loved her Ward 8's...It's a Boston thing.
~Ward 8 ~
1.5 ounces rye whiskey
3/4 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
3/4 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce grenadine
maraschino cherry and orange slice, optional for garnish
This cocktail is essentially a whisky sour with a dash of grenadine

    Its the Rye Whiskey that keeps it in Ward 8 territory. Very nice drink... tried it for the first time, just this past August!
